My review of Hard Candy Fire Flash nail polish from the Glitterazi Collection actually begins with a look at Piece of Papaya from the Itsy Glitzy Collection. I reviewed Piece Of Papaya on Prime Beauty as part of Cindy’s Frugal Friday Series. It’s a duochrome nail polish that flashes from pink to orange depending on where the light hits it. It has plenty of golden particles that give it a lot of personality.
Quickly, it looks like this:
I saved my best pictures for the Prime Beauty review so check that out. The first time I started to swatch Fire Flash on one finger, I thought it was going on a little thin, so I decided to wear Piece of Papaya for a few days and then layer Fire Flash over it.
By the way, these are the three Hard Candy nail lacquers that I picked up while at Wal Mart. From left to right, they are Piece Of Papaya, Birthday Bash from the Crystal Confetti Collection, and Fire Flash.
You can see how Piece of Papaya and Fire Flash have complimentary tones. Fire Flash is full of copper glitter with random hot pink glitters thrown about. It’s hard to photograph. I liked it a lot better in person than I do in the pictures. I feel like it’s hard to see the pink glitters in the pictures but I could see them more clearly in person.
The first picture was Fire Flash with nothing over it and the next is top coated with Cult Nails Wicked Fast.
The new Hard Candy nail polish collection is many collections in one. They retail for around $4 each. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for $4.49 each. You can also follow Hard Candy on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Have you picked up any of the new Hard Candy nail polishes yet? If so, which ones?
